Living in the Wet Mountain Valley of South Central Colorado, with views of the beautiful Sangre de Cristo mountains, is a wonderful choice for many of us. Valley Assisted Living gives our aging parents and loved ones this same opportunity while staying near friends and family. The staff and volunteers at VALI are neighbors, friends, local businesses, and family members working together to provide safe and affordable residential facility options for older adults who need a little more support to remain independent and active in the community. We also provide in-home assistance for those who want to age in place in their own, comfortable living spaces with services customized to meet their needs.

Valley Assisted Living is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation with a mission to provide a warm, homelike, assisted living facility and in-home care for older adults that will enhance their quality of life. VALI was conceived of and methodically organized by concerned local citizens of Custer County, Colorado to provide respectful and safe living options in the Wet Mountain Valley and surrounding counties. It is not part of a for-profit corporate chain owned and managed by executives far removed from our community. VALI is managed locally and overseen by a board of directors who are local leaders in Custer County.
