The West Custer County Library District and Landing Well are excited to extend conversations from our 2025 Senior Fair by co-hosting a new educational series to help seniors–along with their neighbors, families, caretakers, and friends–create a plan to age in place while staying healthy, safe, and connected in the Wet Mountain Valley.

Invite a friend and join us for these upcoming mini-sessions in the West Custer County Library Community Room:

  • Neighbors Helping Neighbors on Thursday, April 2 at 10 am.
    • Cheryl Yankoff from the Central Colorado Area Agency on Aging will introduce a new, local volunteer-driven program to connect local residents with trusted neighbors to lend a hand!
    • Learn how you can be a part of it at: https://custer.helpfulvillage.com/.

    • Janet Booth, Hospice Nurse, will share insights from her new book. Whether you’re healthy, living with illness, caregiving, or supporting others through grief, Dying Matters invites you to begin — or continue — the conversations that bring peace, purpose, and understanding.
